Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on his day-long visit to Bastar today distributed land pattas to 14 different communities for the construction of community halls, at a programme organized in the Town Club ground of Jagdalpur. He handed over the land pattas to Badhai Samaj, Kayastha Samaj, Ghasia Samaj, Nai Samaj, Kalar Samaj, Yadav Samaj, Vishwakarma Samaj, Rajput Kshatriya Samaj, Sundi Samaj, Oraon (Kudukh) Samaj, Sahu Samaj, Munda Samaj, Potanar and Sautanar and Bhatra Samaj.
On the occasion, Chief Minister urged them to utilize these community halls for their social work and for the welfare and upliftment of their community. He congratulated and gave best wishes to the communities and district administration for the distribution of land pattas.
Besides, Shri Baghel also inaugurated the rural secretariat for providing administrative facilities in 437-gram panchayats of Bastar district. He launched 'Nikshay Bastar' for the 'TB Mukt Bastar campaign'. Apart from this he also launched the 'Vidya Jatan' app for monitoring schools.
On the occasion, an MoU was signed between the district administration and BSNL for providing free-of-cost wifi facilities in 108 villages of the district.
