97 per cent of citizens above 18 years received their first shots while 64 per cent have received both the shots of Covid vaccine
38 percent of teens in 15-18 age group received their first dose
Raipur, The Covid-19 vaccination drive is going on at a rapid pace in Chhattisgarh with more than 1.25 crore eligible adult population in the state fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
A total of one crore 25 lakh 49 thousand 361 citizens have received both shots of corona vaccine so far. This is 64 per cent of the population above 18 years of age eligible for vaccination in the state.
Meanwhile, 97 per cent of the adult population and 38 per cent teens in 15-18 age group have received their first shot of the Covid vaccine. One crore 91 lakh 36 thousand 892 citizens above 18 years and six lakh 18 thousand 089 adolescents of 15 to 18 years have been administered the first dose of Covid vaccine. A total of three crore 23 lakh 04 thousand 342 vaccines have been administered across the state so far (till January 6) in both the age groups, including both the first and second doses.
